Knowledge Xpert for DB2 z/OS V10.1
Knowledge Xpert for DB2 V10.1 includes several updates for DB2 z/OS Version 9.1.

Enhanced Knowledge Xpert User Interface
The User Interface has been updated for this version of Knowledge Xpert. Improvements include:
- Check for Updates - This feature on the Knowledge Xpert Home page allows you to check for and download new Knowledge Xpert content updates. This enables you to keep your content up-to-date between full releases of the product.
- Favorites - In addition to adding favorites, version 10.1 enhancements enable you to remove, rename, and organize favorites.
- Comments - This feature reintroduces the ability to add notes and attachments to topics. You can add, edit, or delete comments and share comments with your colleagues through a common directory. Version 10.1 provides an option, at first launch of the product, to migrate any attachments or topic notes from previous versions into comments.
- History - Instead of having the same topic title display repeatedly in the History list, it displays only once with the most recent access date.
- Hot Keys - Additional hot keys provide shortcuts that open Knowledge Xpert menus, print pages, and move quickly through the user interface without the need to use a mouse.
Knowledge Xpert for DB2 z/OS V10.0
Knowledge Xpert for DB2 z/OS V10.0 includes all of the error messages for DB2 z/OS Version 9.1.
Enhanced Knowledge Xpert User Interface
The User Interface has been redesigned for this version of Knowledge Xpert. Improvements include:
- An enhanced Search capability that filters results as you type search terms
- The ability to search across all installed Knowledge Xpert products
- More descriptive search results that provide a better preview of the page
- The ability to search all versions of Instant Messages, Instant Scripts and other resources along with standard pages
Knowledge Xpert for DB2 z/OS V2.2
Knowledge Xpert for DB2 UDB z/OS V2.2 includes a number of updated topics on System Tuning as well as a new section on system tuning opportunities unique to DB2 V8, including:
- Partition Rotation
- Performance & MQTs
- Volatile Tables
- Multi-Row Processing (RowSets)
- Partition Rebalancing
- V8 Bind Parameter REOPT Changes
- Data-Partitioned Secondary Indexes
Knowledge Xpert for DB2 UDB z/OS coverage of Object Management has been updated for DB2 V8 with new and updated topics on the following objects:

Knowledge Xpert for DB2 z/OS V2.0
Knowledge Xpert for DB2 z/OS V2.0 introduces a new section on DB2 object management. Topics covered include:

Management sections are provided for the following objects:

Instant Messages
Knowledge Xpert for DB2 z/OS V2.0 includes all of the error messages for DB2 z/OS Version 8. Click the Error Messages tab in the Navigation Window or click the Error Messages button on the tool bar.
Knowledge Xpert Browser Changes
The Knowledge Xpert browser has been upgraded with substantially improved search capabilities. See the Knowledge Xpert Help System for details. Press F1 or select Help -> Access Help from the menu bar.
Knowledge Xpert for DB2 z/OS V1.1
V1.1 of Knowledge Xpert for DB2 z/OS expands upon the material included in V1.0 with a new section on Subselects and Table Expressions. This section includes 23 new topics to help you use these SQL constructs for maximum benefit and performance in DB2 for z/OS.
Enhancements have also been made to Knowledge Xpert's search dialog. Please see the Help system for additional information on these useful enhancements.
Knowledge Xpert for DB2 z/OS V1.0
The material in V1.0 is primarily for DB2 z/OS V7 and V8 application tuning. For information on earlier versions of DB2, please see the Knowledge Xpert for DB2 Archive. For information on DB2 UDB for NT/Unix, please see Knowledge Xpert for DB2 UDB. These products can both be accessed by clicking "File" from the menu bar and selecting the product you wish to view from the list that appears there.
