Chet Justice
Chet is an Oracle Nerd.
Chet is not an Oracle fanatic, although he IS a recognized Oracle ACE.
Chet's Manifesto: Regardless of your database, use it. Stop treating it like a bucket for your data. If you are going to do so, you might as well use flat files...or better yet, XML! Oracle is an incredibly powerful database and I believe in using what I (well, my employer) paid for.

Gary Myers
I am a proud Oracle developer who moved from England to Sydney before Y2K. If the world had ended, it would have been nicer to be somewhere warm.
Since that time I have worked for consultancy firms and as an independent contractor, exercising my database skills for several government and commercial concerns.
I firmly believe that knowledge should be shared and not hoarded. I have been an active [blogger][5]for over five years, and contribute to the StackOverflow community where I hold a gold "oracle" badge for answers in that tag. I don't think it's real gold though. I am an editor of the [blekko /oracledb] [6] slashtag.
I also test my knowledge against other PL/SQL developers worldwide by competing in Steven Feuerstein's [PL/SQL Challenge] [7].

Dawn R
I'm not a natural born programmer; code does NOT drip from my fingers like it seems to do with other programmers I know. However, I'm very inquisitive, and I like to know why I'm coding what I'm coding - is it the best thing to do for the system, can it be done better, more efficiently, etc. That'll be the years of talking to users, analysts, developers and managers in order to get them to see what needed to be changed on the system *{;-)
I like Oracle, I like it's simplicity and the fact that it's also incredibly complex! There's always something to be learning about it. I know that I still don't know very much about it all, but I'm willing to learn. I like to try to help out on the SQL / PL/SQL forum on OTN, and have learnt a lot from reading other people's posts, and also from people correcting my mistakes!
I've put this blog together mainly to keep the blogs I like to read together in my friends page, but also as a place for me to store useful information, or gripes that I have (people misusing dates is my current number 1 bug-bear!). If you've stumbled across this, I hope it will come in useful to you.
